A skin for Milton Shupe's Lockheed 18 Lodestar, depicting a U.S. Coast Guard R5O-4 as it appeared around 1948. National insignia on the wings but not the fuselage was not uncommon on Coast Guard planes around this time. The Coast Guard operated the Lodestar from 1941 through 1953.
