FS9 repaint of the MAAM-SIM TBF-1 Avenger. It represents an aircarft from Composite Squadron Eight (VC-8) as embarked on the USS Mission Bay in December 1943. E16, along with 9 other TBF-1s and 6 FM-Wildcats of VC-8 were aboard to provide convoy patrol along the southern routes to North Africa. Repaint by Steve Bryant based on the TBF-1C of VT-7 (USS Hancock CV-19) original textures by Todd Disrud included in the MAAM Avenger package. Thanks to the MAAM Avenger team for this terrific model.
