FS9 repaint of the MAAM TBM-3 Avenger. It represents an aircarft from Marine Torpedo Squadron 143 (VMTB - 143) as embarked on the USS Gilbert Islands in spring-summer 1945. P81 "The Loose Goose" was the mount of Capt. Stalnaker, and Capt. Patterson who grew up on his family's "Goose Haven" farm. Art on starboard side only. This is an example of the starboard engine panel with artwork having been transferred from one plane to another. You can see the remnants of an 8 from the prior 81on the forward edge of the black panel. Repaint by Steve Bryant based on the TBM-3 Avenger of VT-17 (USS Hornet) original textures by Todd Disrud included in the MAAM Avenger package.
