This is an updated version of a previous repaint, which I believe is a much more accurate representation of the real aircraft. The repaint depicts a Messerschmitt Bf-109 K-4 that was based at Junkertroylhof in April 1945. The paint scheme and markings are typical of K-4s at the end of the war, when paint supplies were severely limited and a lot of aircraft were in poor condition. Parts supplies were also limited - in the following month, due to a necessary engine change, the BD605 from a G model was substituted, along with the right-hand engine cowling from the same model. On May 4, 1945, just four days from the end of WWII, this aircraft was transferred to Ronne airfield on Bornholm Island, but the aircraft didn't make the airfield and put down instead in Ronne stadium, some 5 km from the airfield. It never flew again. Textures only for the Flight Replicas Bf-109 K-4.
