Mudmovers.zip; Mud Movers. A campaign by D.H.T. Shippey

Welcome to Mud Movers. This campaign was designed to give CFS pilots a different kind of combat. The B-25 ground attack variant was a unique aircraft. With eight 50 cal machine guns in the nose, four gun positions for defence and a load of bombs it was no dogfighter but a powerfull strafing and low level bombing aircraft. It takes awhile to get the hang of flying this heavy aircraft at low levels. You'll find using the guns and bombs take a lot more skill than firing a bunch of rockets at targets.

While flying this campaign you should know that the B-25 eats a lot of fuel. Before you go and hit "x" to slew to the next action you had best crank down the throttle to around 20% or you'll find yourself out of gas and out of luck. The same goes for the long trip home after the mission.

If you recognize some of the scenarios in Mud Movers that's because they are largely adapted from the original CFS ground attack missions. However I think you'll find the use of different aircraft and other changes greatly alter the play of the missions. This is not a true historical campaign and the situations are all fictitious. In fact the B-25 H while widely used in the Pacific was only evaluated in the European theatre.

The aircraft air. file and sounds were created by Mike Hill who generously gave me permission to use them.
The textures were created by myself and the basic panel was created by Chuck Dome.

Installation- take all the contents of the campaignMM folder and place them in the CFS campaign folder. Take the B-25 solid folder and place it in your aircraft folder. Start CFS, go to campaigns, select Mud Movers and fly.
If you have any problems or questions don't hestitate to E-mail me at DanRenoS@aol.com

Have fun and fly low.
