You have decided to spice your CFS2 experience up by adding Navigation capability in the form of
Direction Finding radio's & Non-Directional Beacons etc.
BUT . . . you have no idea of what the existing NDB's frequencies are in your scenery files.
and you will always be downloading scenery with files that contain unknown NDB data.
Look no further, because NDBfreak will solve that issue for you.
This tool will scan all the bgl files in your game's scenery folders and gather up all the NDB data it can find.
The results are displayed in a list on the main window, which makes it easy for you to browse.
To make your life even easier, you can create a 'Kneeboard notes' text file with the press of a button.
All the NDB frequencies ,names as well as the beacon ranges will be neatly output in a table in a file called
'NDB_notes.txt' , which can be used immediately as a KB_notes file in your aircraft folders.
There is also an option to select an NDB entry in the list, and edit the data, which will be modified in
scenery bgl file in your game's scenery folder.
Don't freq out , back-ups are automatically made of the original bgl files, before overwriting them.
Enjoy
