North American F-86F flown by Maj. Howard R. Ebersole.zip 2024-05-24

This is a special set of newly redesigned primary F-86F textures in DXT3 format for the ?SECTIONF8? North American F-86E/F Saber (sf86ef.zip). The Sabre represented by this set of textures was F-86F-30NA 52-4387 flown by (then) Maj. Howard R. Ebersole, USAF; 12th Fighter Bomber Squadron, 18th Fighter Bomb Group while stationed at Osan AFB, Korea in 1953. Major Ebersole shot down one MiG-15 in this airplane. Thanks to Jan Visser for his friendship, and Steve Bryant for giving me the motivation to produce these very special set of textures in honor of Lt. Colonel Ebersole (8 February 1922 - 4 January 2005). Note: These textures are in DXT3 format for low framerates. Repaint by Cliff Presley
