1 - the XP-56 ( first prototype) as it appeared when first flown in September 1943, with the model's dorsal fin reduced to the original vestigial form using transparency in the alpha channel,
2 - the XP-56 as last flown, with the tall dorsal fin fitted after initial test fights, as it appeared on its last flight and crash in October 1943.
3 - The XP-56A (second prototype) dressed up as an operational P-56A towards the end of WW2 in Europe.
4 - The XP-56A dressed up as a U.S. Air Force F-56B in the late 1940s.
