P-38 (F-5E) attached to the 2/23 GR. Antoine de St. Exupery, the famous writer and aviation pioneer, flew several recon missions for the "Groupe de Reconnaissance 2/23", based at Borgo Airfiield in Corsica, under the command of the 23rd US PRS. On July 31, 1944, he took off for a mission over the south of France and never returned. Textures only for David C. Copley's P-38J ver2.2 (p38p220.zip). Repaint By Damian Radice.
