P-47D 42-26272 was assigned to Capt HE Wiggins of the 361st Fs /356th FG. The aircraft was lost on 9 august 1944, with the pilot, Lt Rogers evading capture and returning to the squadron. Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Fighters P-47D by Jan Kees Blom.
