P-51D 44-13390 was assigned to Major Nevin K Cranfill of the 369th FS. The noseart was painted by Cranfill's armourer, Sgt Anthony Chardella. Maj. Cranfill completed two tours of duty, totalling 506 hours in 133 missions, shooting down 5 enemy aircraft. He served in Korea and Vietnam after the war, retiring in 1970. Repaint for the
