P-51D 44-63223 was assigned to Lt. Arthur R. Bowers of Tiskilwa, Illinois. He flew with the 334th FS/ 4th FG between november 1944 and the end of the war. He was hit by flak near Erlangen, Germany on 26/3/1945, injuring him in the neck. Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by John Terrell.
