This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft, owned by Jim Beasley, was first produced as an F-6K Mustang. The aircraft became the racer "Full House" in 1946. In 1954 the aircraft went to the Dominican Air Force and served as FAD 1900. In 1984 the aircraft was returned to the US, and in 1989 was purchased by Jim Beasley, beginning restoration soon after. The aircraft was restored to P-51D model configuration and painted as "Frenesi", an aircraft flown by Maj. Tom Hayes, with the 357th FG, 364th FS. With the restoration complete in 1995, the aircraft quickly became a favorite at airshows where ever it went. In 2005, while the aircraft was undergoing an engine change a decision was made to restore the aircraft again, breaking it down to its basic airframe. As of 2007 the aircraft is still undergoing restoration, but is nearing completion.
