This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft, owned by Joe Richardson, was first delivered to the USAAF as 44-73206. After the aircraft was sold surplus in 1958 it passed through several owners and even spent time in France as F-AZAG. The aircraft was shipped back to the US in 1983, and was restored in Chino as "Hurry Home Honey", a 357th FG, 364th FS, Mustang flown by Major "Pete" Peterson. The aircraft was owned by Charles Osborne/Vintage Fighters up until just recently when the aircraft was sold to Joe Richardson. The aircraft could be seen at the recent Gathering of Mustangs and Legends.
