This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. Another product of the talented crews of Midwest Aero Restorations, "Red Dog" has emerged an immaculate machine, winning Reserve Grand Champion at EAA Oshkosh 2006. During its service life, this aircraft operated with the Texas ANG, the Dominican Republic Air Force as FAD 1919, and later restored and flown as "Tally Ho II" from 1986-1999. The original "Red Dog" was flown by Maj. Louis H. Norley of the 4th FG, 334th FS, England 1944-45.
