This is a photoreal repaint for Warwick Carter's P-51D Mustang Ver. 2. Owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and part of his Flying Heritage Collection, this aircraft is one of a few flying Mustangs today to have seen combat during WWII and is regarded as the most authentic example left in the world. Painted in its original markings as "Upupa Epops", this aircraft was flown by Bud Tordoff while opperating with the 353rd FG, 352nd FS in Europe, during March and April 1945. Post WWII service saw this aircraft opperating in both the Swedish and Dominican Republic Air Forces.
