P-51D-30 45-11439 became N5071K with Norton M. Smith, Seattle, WA, 1963-1964. It was later registered as NL51HY with Barbara Hunter from Lewisburg, WV, July 14, 1998-2002 and is currently with Rancho Linda Vista LLC. Back in the air after a long restoration, it is painted in a striking paintscheme, with D-day stripes and post war roundels as "Quick Silver". Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by John Terrell.
