This repaint is of a PBY-5A BuNo 05045 August. 12, 1942, it was the first to land onGuadalcanals airstrip and was piloted by Aide to Vice Admiral John. S. McCain, Lt. Wm. Sampson and Chief Aviation Pilot Walt Schauer. Regards YANKEE.
