This set includes five repaints of David Wooster's Boeing P-26 Peashooter for FS9 and Golden Wings, Peashooters of the 18th Pursuit Group based at Wheeler Field, Hawaii. The 18th PG was the first operator of the P-26 outside the continental United States and flew it in both the light blue fuselages with yellow wings livery and the overall silver livery adopted in 1940. This set includes one planes from the 6th Pursuit Squadron and three from the 19th PS, one each in the early 18th PG livery with nose flashes in the squadron color, one in the later blue fuselage livery with colored cowling and one in the overall silver livery. There is also one plane from the Group Headquarters Flight in the blue fuselage livery with gold cowling and command markings. This is the fourth of five texture sets that depict the P-26 in a variety of the markings it wore during its long service with the U.S. Army Air Corps and the General Headquarters Air Force. This pack includes a replacement texture set for the unfinished and incomplete paint that somehow snuck into the original upload.
This is an enhancement to my repaint of David Wooster's Boeing P-26 Peashooter in the livery of the Deputy Commander of the 18th Pursuit Group that was included in my "Peashooters In Paradise" texture pack. The gold markings have been redone in an improved gold color. Only the altered files are included here, so you'll need the original texture package and David's P-26 model.
This is a single replacement texture file for the reflective silver Peashooter of the 19th Pursuit Squadron that's included in my Peashooters In Paradise repaint package. It turns the engine faceplate the correct color, red. (It was silver in the original package.) Apologies for the inconvenience.
