• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Piper L-18 Super Cub Warbird Skin Set 2.zip

Four civilian warbird skins for Allen's Piper L-18C Super Cub.

LN-ACI wears an allegedly authentic Royal Norwegian Air Force livery. I'm a bit uncertain about the white surround to the national insignia so I painted it as it looks today with its civil regfistration on the fin. If you want to re-militarize it, I've provided a pair of main textures without the civil registration on the tail. They're in the "Re-Militarize LN-ACI" folder. Just drop them into the LN-ACI texture folder overwriting the originals.

Army 447 depicts a U.S. Army L-18 in overall silver. I don't think the Army painted any of its L-18s silver, but maybe they did. Despite the lack of a civil registration, Army 447's markings in a non-standard style reveal it to be a civilian warbird.

N757JV, an American warbird, wears an attractive but possibly imaginative arctic livery. I couldn't identify the insignia on the nose.

ZU-EMX is a South African warbird. It's U.S. Army livery appears authtntic, but I don't know if the Army ever painted any of its L-18s in the high visibility Arctic scheme.
