Jarink was kind enough to send me his layered photoshop files of the Noseart that I used for these repaints. I also used his repaints as a guide for my repaints. This skin pack of 4 textures represents B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 385th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.The B-17G started seeing action with the 385th in November, 1943 and continued until the end of the war. The Checkerboard group markings on the tail were adopted in February, 1945. "Big Gas Bird", "Honky Tonk Sal", "Ole Doodle Bug", and "Rubys Raiders".
