These are scenery add-ons for both FS9/FS2004 and CFS2. Originally created by and with kind permission of Arno Brooks for CFS1, but works equally as well in Fs9 and CFS2.
The add-ons consist of a set of 'Searchlights' for the European theatre, and 'City Fires' for several European cities to add atmosphere to those WWII night missions.
The groups of 'Searchlights' are situated through the UK, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany. They both switch on and off and move through an arc, to simulate chains and groups of searchlights searching for those elusive bombers.
Locations include from Aaachen, Bochum and Chelmsford through Dortmund, Dunkerque and Maidstone to Ostende, Pointe de Barfleur, Texel and Witten, Xanten and Zeebrugge. And for those 'Dads Army' fans even Walmington-on-Sea! A total of 111 searchlight areas.
The 'City fires' are patches of fires simulating the flickering burning flames of buildings that have been bombed. These include Canterbury, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Essen, London and Portsmouth.
Both of the add-ons can be installed to either sim, either independently of each other or together.
