This repaint represents the F-86E-10-NA Sabre 51-2824 flown by Captain James Robinson "Robbie" Risner of the 336th FIS, 4th FIW. Captain Risner was sent to Korea in May 1952, and was assigned to a photo reconnaissance outfit. He soon obtained a transfer to the 336th Fighter squadron based at Kimpo. Risner ended his tour with 8 victories, placing him 12th on the list of top scoring pilots in Korea.
