A repaint for Warwick Carter's excellent P-51D Mustang (ver. 2) This photo-real repaint represents "Short Fuse Sallee", the third Mustang of the same name flown by then Capt. Richard Eugene Turner of Cushing, Oklahoma. The markings on this North American P-51D-15-NA belong to the 356th Fighter Squadron of the 354th Fighter Group, 9th USAAF. Lt. Col. Turner survived the war and was credited with 11 air-to-air victories and numerous air-to-ground victories.
