This is a Portuguese repaint of Stuart Green?s SPAD (sg_spad.zip), available at Avsim and Stuart's site. (http://www.domicilium.com/peveril/ha...s/SPAD_VII.htm) In order to keep the download size small, this zip comprises only the modified textures.
There were at least 12 SPADs in Portuguese service, from 1919 until 1935. The first operational unit was created in 1919 at Amadora (north of Lisbon) and was called "Grupo de Esquadrilhas de Aviatro Republica" ( Squadron Group Republica ), with "Esquadrilhas de Combate" (Fighter squadrons) equipped with SPADs.
