Springfield (Mass.) Airport Version 2 for FS9 & GW.zip 2024-05-01

This package includes detailed scenery of Springfield Airport in Springfield, Massachusetts as it appeared in the early 1930s, when the planes built there by the Granville Brothers dominated the National Air Races. Thanks to the discovery of information not available when we first modeled Springfield Airport, version Two corrects some inaccuracies in two of the buildings, and corrects a couple of minor texture glitches. Version Two also includes night textures so the airport will no longer appear deserted at night. Also included are two traffic files to populate the airport with a selection of Gee Bee airplanes and to simulate the operations of the Springfield-based airline, New England & Western Air Transportation. This scenery was developed in FS9 and Golden Wings 3. The scenery is compatible with stock FS9, FS9 with USA Roads and FREEflow New England, stock Golden Wings 3, Golden Wings 3 with FREEflow New England, and probably FS9 or GW3 with Ultimate Terrain.
