Stoney Cross USAAF station 452

Constructed in the New Forest, Hampshire, south coast of England.

Opened in November 42 originally for RAF 239sq flying Mustang B's and moved to USAAF in March '44 in the build up to D-day. Home to 367th FG P-38 lightnings and then 387th BG B-26 Marauders from July.
