This FS9 repaint of the MAAM-SIM GrummanTBF-1C Avenger represents an aircraft from Torpedo Squadron 2 (VT-2) that served aboard USS Hornet (CV-12) during summer 1944. The white disc on the tail was Hornet's air goup ID (Air Group 11 - CVG-11). Repaint by Steve Bryant based original textures by Todd Disrud included in the MAAM-SIM Avenger package, and the paintkit by Jan Visser, which can be found on the Free Stuff page for the Avenger at www.maam.org.
