This mission is a recreation of the air battle that occured on the 19 March 1945 when aircrafts from Task Force 58 (TF-58) attacked Kure, Kure Naval Arsenal and warships in Kure Harbor. The recently reactivated 343 Kokutai (343rd Naval Air Group) was sent to intercept them with the most advanced fighter the IJN had: the N1K2 Shiden-kai (George).
As it is my first try at mission building this mission will certainly not be perfect on all aspects, historicaly and gameplay wise, still hope it will be an enjoyable one. Feel absolutely free to change anything and everything you want, I even wish some of the more experienced mission builder would take a look at it and change/upgrade it. Please feel free to give me your feedbacks and/or ask questions too. After this one I wish/hope to make some other missions, again Japan Homeland Defense, too many beautiful japanese planes that need to be flown (I look at you, Ki-61s/100s).
