Junkers Ju 388J Night Fighter Package for CFS3
This package contains two flyable Junkers Ju 388J night fighters for Combat Flight Simulator 3:
Ju 388J PE+IB
Ju 388J 9W+JL
BACKGROUND
The original aircraft was previously distributed as a Ju 388-based model that had often been used as astand-in for the Ju 188. Examination of the model, armament, and configuration shows that it is more accurately represented as a Ju 388J night fighter.
Accordingly, this release restores the aircraft to its proper identity as a Ju 388J.

Late-war Luftwaffe texture set:

Flyable configuration
Night fighter armament including forward-firing cannon and Schräge Musik installation
Ju 88G-series cockpit adapted for flyable operation
Separate standalone aircraft folders
PERFORMANCE
The supplied flight model provides approximately:
Maximum speed: approximately 386 mph at high altitude
Service ceiling: approximately 40,000 ft
Practical operating altitude: 30,000–35,000 ft
Flight testing indicates good climb performance to 30,000 ft, with reduced climb capability above 35,000 ftas expected for a high-altitude twin-engined aircraft.
NOTES
This package is intended as a flyable Ju 388J night fighter and should not be regarded as a Ju 188 bomber.
The cockpit installation is adapted from a Ju 88G-series night fighter and is provided to give a practicalflyable cockpit environment for CFS3 users.
