This B-24D-130-CO 42-41077 was produced at the Consolidated plant in San Diego. It was assigned to the 400th Bomb Sqdn, 90th Bomb Group, 5th AAF. It flew out of the Iron Range and Fenton Field in Australia. Its scheme is typical of early war deployment of the 90th BG. At a later point in its career, it was fitted with a nose turret from the modification center at Townsville. Textures only, requires the Alpha Sim payware aircraft.
