This B-24M-5-CO 44-41876 was produced at the Consolidated plant in San Diego. It was assigned to the 530th Bomb Sqdn, 380th Bomb Group, 5th AAF. 'Lucky Strike' flew from Murtha Field on Mindoro, in the Philippines. Its first mission was on 28 Feb 45 to the Ipo Dam on Luzon. By war's end, it had flown a total of 56 missions and was returned to the ZI where it was smelted down. Textures only, requires Alpha Sim payware aircraft.
