This is an updated version of my earlier work, updated due to improved template, full version, does not need earlier version! For the Wings Of Power Ta 152C My first "What If" skin for the Ta 152C-1/R11. This Ta 152C-1/R11 (All weather fighter) W.Nr 360002 was manufactured by the Siebel Aircraft Company near Halle in Saxony, Germany and delivered to 6 Staffel, II Gruppe, JG26 at Husum airfield, near the Danish border on the 2nd of May 1945. The aircraft was camouflaged in the standard Ta 152 scheme as specified in Oberflachenschutzeliste 8 Os 152 of November 1944 (the official Focke-Wulf directive). This consisted of RLM 81/82 uppersurfaces, RLM 76 fuselage sides and unpainted undersurfaces, although Siebel decided to cover the undersurfaces and fuselage with the often seen derivative of RLM 76, a Green Blue colour often erroneously quoted as RLM 84 (it was never officially called that). To celebrate the arrival of the first Ta 152C to a combat Staffel, the Staffel painters took the unusual decision to adorn the aircraft with the "Schlageter" JG 26 emblem on each side of the nose cowling as well as the official 6 Staffel emblem beneath the cockpit. It is not known whether this aircraft ever flew on a combat sortie. Historical facts Three Ta 152C's were found (without engines) at the Seibel Plant after the war. Seibel was allocated W.Nr in the 360XXX series. Husum was the last airfield occupied by II Gruppe JG 26, from 2/5/45 till 8/5/45. OS-Liste 8 Os 152 was approved by the RLM board in Nov 1944 It was highly unusual to see unit or personal emblems on Fw 190 or Ta 152 aircraft in the later months of the war. Otherwise it "could" have happened.
