Repaint of Shockwaves' WWII Fighters Thunderbolt in the colors of Robert S. Johnson's 'Lucky', of the 61st FS, 56th FG. Johnson flew a total of five planes with the 56th and this was his favorite. It was lost in the North Sea in March of 1944 by another pilot. He went on to score a total 27 victories second only to Francis S. Gabreski, also of the 56th, the highest scoring fighter pilot in the ETO. Hub Zemke's 56th FG 'Wolf Pack?, had the highest aerial victories in the 8th AF with a total 647 1/2 in its two year history of 447 missions. They had a kill ratio of eight to one, all done with P-47 Thunderbolts only.
