WWII Fighters Bf 109E Heydrich.zip 2024-06-26

No permission to download
For the Shockwave Bf 109E. Painted using ICDPs excellent template. SS-OberGruppenfuhrer Reinhard Heydrich was unique in that he served with the Kreigsmarine, Luftwaffe, SS and SD. He served as a Reserve Hauptman and then Major in the Luftwaffe firstly with I./JG1 in France from April to June 1940 crashing at least twice during this period. He then returned with II./JG77 from June to July 1941 on the Southern Eastern Front, his superiors were not happy with such a figure as Heydrich risking death or capture while flying combat missions and tried to stop him, succeeding eventually on July 22 1941 after his aircraft was damaged by Russian AA and he crash landed but managed to escape. He flew approx. 97 missions with no kills but earned the Iron Cross First and Second Class for completing over 60 combat missions. His first Bf 109E-4 and E-7 are included here as they were (E-7 is guesswork) during June 1940 and July 1941, the unique sigrune showing as Heydrich's personal marking.
