Messerschmitt Bf109E-4/B, Yellow 7, LG 2, Calais-Marck, France, Autumn 1940.Several different ways of disguising the fuselage sides of Bf109s in France were tried including this one using RLM 70 crudely applied crosses over the standard RLM 71/02/65 scheme.
