I guess "Goose" was in the head. I watch YT "Lighter side of RC" who is a pro builder of many of the giant scale models, including the Skymaster F-14. Cool to see the size and internals that go into something this scale.

Indeed! My favorite part is how it looks like a real plane flying at a scale speed and not some superfast R/C zinging around. The exhaust flame is a nice touch as well!

My God, the plane even has a canopy-closing servo! Looked just like the afternoon flight demo practices our staff aircrews in VF-101 used to do at NAS Oceana.
