12/19 Update - Interesting

Saw the mention of the 12/19 update and went to see what it actually did. Going into "My Library" and selecting "Disabled" I found that quite a few that have been listed as Disabled with no options, now were clickable for Enable with a restart. Each restart seems like it made a few more that I could Enable with a restart.

I'm on the 5th restart right now trying to get my last Marketplace airport going. It does look like there is something still a bit odd as after the last restart there were only two items left in the Disabled category, but when I did that restart, the number of disabled items went back up.

It may be that enabling some stuff disables other stuff????

Just finished checking. Definitely more of my MSMP purchases are now available. No new aircraft, but 33 of my 70 MSMP sceneries are now active.

As for the jet project I am working on, the autopilot had been useless (or worse) with the previous update and is again working smoothly. Other changes to be evaluated!

Checking it out now. Biggest change I've noticed so far is that the lengthy loading delay on "Loading language" now happens at 5% instead of 6%.

Pretty short changelist, looks like the focus was on CTDs.

FSS2020 planes still have dark displays and no pilots. Sigh. Holding out hope that they'll prioritize fixing those issues before they launch Marketplace.

Stuck, deleted limitless file, finallylaunched, wants to reset game settings on every launch, will not recognize community folder even with config update. . So.... a full uninstall now. Let's see what happens.

I'm wondering how much of this is system caused. Since the third update, mine has been very stable. I did have to do the uninstall/reinstall thing a couple times before, and finding/moving the packages folder about 4 times before the 3rd update, because the sim couldn't find it. Since the 3rd update, mine has been very stable. Mine is C:/xbox/FS2024. With a 4TB C:drive, and about 45TB of other drives, I have lots of room for both 2020 and 2024 next to each other in the xbox folder. So far, no troubles there. One problem I am encountering is that 2024 doesn't seem to like using shortcuts to folders outside the community folder, unlike 2020. May be my system.

There does not seem to be a binding for a rudder trim axis. This was very useful for WWII prop planes and when doing engine out tests of multi's. I would like to use Axis and Ohs for this if possible but need to figure out how to do it.

Also no canopy open-close binding?

It comes down to a bug within the instal. Many folks are running into this roadblock. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled. It still did not get past 97%. So I deleted the MS limitless folder and relaunched the sim, which got me in a few minutes later. Had to update all of my settings and redirect the user config to my Community folder, then restart so I could see those items in the Community folder. All is ok now, at least until the next update. If the software load is not finding the package folders, then there is an install bug preventing that connection.

Also found that selecting Market place, My Library then locating one of my disabled airports, clicking on it then press enable will install. When clicking on the airport it did not highlight or give a check mark. It did install on a sim reset. Two airports activated so far.
