Hi all, I've recently discovered the 64k limit for mission creation, and remembered a thread regarding its doubling, but have not been able to find the text. does anyone know any thing about it?, Thanks, Irwin

The 64k limit was in reference to pre-XP machines. If you have XP or beyond, there's no problem, except that you get a little "warning" box about it, because it's still coded into the game.
Believe me, I've pushed well beyond that throttle guard on a frequent basis. There's no warning at 128k or beyond, the only consequence is that the mission loading times increase exponentially, especially in terms of objects placed. Moving ships or vehicles affect the file sizes, but not the loading times.
