15 Most Frustrating Companies..........

I have Time-Warner here in Tampa and their service is outstanding. I suspect there are regional differences to all these companies.

Good to see TWC and AT&T on the list. Microsoft also belongs on the list though. Most of the guys in my IT department would probably put HP on there as well... :mixedsmi:

I have Comcast for tv and internet. The internet speeds are good and their servers and equipment have become more reliable over the years. The cable tv still sucks. You have to use their decoder boxes, they provide one HD box and one standard box, but any additional boxes mus be leased by the month. It's expensive and the rates go up every year and the increases are generally in excess of the rate of inflation. To top it off, there are frequent interruptions in the signal. I can't tell you how many times I have been watching a show or sporting event only to see the screen go black, then a message pops indicating that Comcast has detected a problem with the signal.

I still have Verizon for cell phone service and I used to have Verizon land line phone service, but I dumped the land line when the line outside of my house went dead for a week and Verizon refused to even give me an estimated date at which they could come out and find the problem. That's abysmal customer service and I know others that experienced the exact same thing.

I agree with all of those companies in the article as being difficult to deal with, the only one I don't have any experience with would be Long Island Power.

I'm not at all surprised at where Time Warner came in on the list. Got into it with them the other night when my DVR hard drive was going out. First guy that answered the phone said that he couldn't help me as we're former New Wave customers. Time Warner bought out New Wave a while back and the customer service has dropped big time since the change over.
