• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

1944 Spitfire crash

That was definitely worth watching. Observing the look on this gentleman's face as he watched the footage was priceless.

Yep, great film. The USAAF flew more than just the PR Spitfire. The 31st Fighter Group also flew Spitfire fighters in the Med and Italy.

Sorry if was a repost, don't watch forum every day.
Looks like some folks didn't see before (like me).
My apologies.

No need to apologize. Like you said, some of us hadn't seen it before and would have missed it altogether.

Originally that was posted during Memorial Day weekend here in the States, so many folks were probably out and about and missed it.
And originally it was posted for only the Memorial Day celebration by YouTube, it was to have been posted for only a limited time, then taken down.
Thankfully the documentary makers have left it up, and apparently are posting it elsewhere for others to see, it is a great short to watch nonetheless.

So really anytime its gets posted again, that's a good thing. It's great to watch over and over. ;)
