Hi all

1/ i know that if i want to align my guns shooting at the center i must go to panel.cfg and at "view forward dir" do the adjustments.

The quest is if the panel.cfg hasn't the above section where i must do the adjustments?

2/ I wand to add to a plane tail-hook. What's the procedure?

cheers:icon_lol::medals:

Hi Nick,

On my way out to work, but here's what to do:

1 --- Find another panel.cfg with this text and copy/paste to your target panel, then make adjustments as needed.

2 --- Find the stock Hellcat or Wildcat or Corsair aircraft.cfg with a tail hook info and copy/paste to your target model's cfg.

You mean " [TailHook]
tailhook_length=4 ;(feet)
tailhook_position = -15.0, 0.0, -1.0 ;(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum
cable_force_adjust = 1.0"

cheers

Hi Larry
Tried at alpha t-6 texan. I thought that that was the solution and tried it last night,but i didn't saw the tail-hook going out of the fuselage and worried if that wasn't correct. Maybe needs to align the position.

Cheers

Nikos,
That entry merely creates an invisible tailhook. If the sim tells you that the hook is lowering or raising, you are good to go. The visible tailhook may not be animated & merely eye candy.
