I have just found all the source files for this aircraft. I am going to convert it from FSX to CFS2.

Thanks everyone for your comments.

I forgot to include this Beautiful Doll, this is my second favorite paint scheme.

AC, after your project is fully completed to your satisfaction, maybe you could consider throwing in this additional request for the non-historical warbird "Six Shooter".

bearcar241,

I am not a good painter. Phanis painted all those paint schemes. I am just converting the aircraft from FSX to CFS2. That aicraft was built more than 10 years ago when I did not have any white hair :)

BTW, Six Shooter paint scheme was available in Version 2.

Version 3 has a completely new set of bmp files.

bearcat241,

My memory came back after finding this paint scheme buried inside one of the folder of another aircraft. I did ask Phanis to paint it more than 10 years ago.

The aircraft is coming along nicely. If I was smarter, I should have built the FSX/FS2004 version with CFS2 technique so I don't have to reanimate all the landing gear system due to the CFS2 break apart logic.

Anyway, this is the most complicated landing gear system that I have ever built.

The 2D cockpit is now finished with modified gauges from the Alphasim's P-51D.

The aircraft will be finished soon!

I think the aircraft is now finished. I have just finished all the modified gauges from Alphasim. Special thanks to bearcat241 for beta testing the aircraft.

I am waiting for a new set of sound files. I am going to look for any minor glitches before uploading it. Here is what the aircraft will look like:

Another vote for "Shangri-La". I have a very fine 1/72 die-cast metal model of this aircraft. All of the paints look great though.
