2004 re-skins???

Hi,

I happen upon some Re-Skins for FS 2004.

There were a few SWEET Storch FI-156. I am checking to see if I can use them in CFS2.

Is there more from the FS 2004 line that can be used in CFS2????..or do they have to be altered to work in CFS2????

Brenutz,

I have found little difficulty in using those textures for Piglet's Fi-156 Storch. The only thing you have to remember is to check the format of the bitmaps with Martin Wright's DXTbmp, and changing any that are Extended bitmap 32, because the textures show up as transparent in CFS2. Switching them to DXT3 will suffice. Other than that, you should have no problems.

I just used the Finnish 1940 repaint on my Eastern Front Storch.

In the past, I've found skins for Thicko's Ms-406 that put her in the colors of the Regia Aeronautica, as well as the Mermaz Dewoitine D-520.
 
All my recent Storch paints should work out of the box in cfs2, I always save them in dxt3 format. There are a few more due out in the next few days, Captured Soviet and a few more luftwaffe schemes and an RAF are planned. you might want too follow the storch thread over on the fs2004 as thats where I normally post screenies. http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=13091
