2012 NASCAR Champeen-ship

Hey All,

I'm not giving all credit to Brad - yes it takes a team and Brad has a team and a great car. But it also takes a driver who can clearly indicated not only what the car is doing but what he needs - far more than just wheeling the car like a Kyle - Brad. You just watch - Kasey and Kenny are in the same league as any of these.

I've always been a big Kasey Kahne fan :applause: - I thought he was going to strike it big with Evernham & Dodge......but....:blind:

I find it fascinating that Penske could build a small number of Dodge engines which had no failures according to Roger and won the championship.

Now he will sell or close what is possibly the best engine shop producing NASCAR engines. Strange, but Roger obviously knows what he is doing. :isadizzy:

Again,
I've got to say that you can't point both barrels at Roger here - it's about data acquisition.

Since Roger is friends with Hendrick, I'm going to **guess** Roger believes that the best chance he has to get all his cars in chase (a la' Hendrick) is to put himself in the position aquiring the most amount of data possible.

Let's not call out Roger (again).
Petty left Dodge. Michael Waltrip Racing *apparently* wasn't "wooed" enough by corporate Dodge to drive their cars instead of Toyota. So perhaps the answers lie at Corporate Dodge rather than Roger.

Like you said, if the engines are that good, the question is "why didn't anyone else switch over"...:ques:

Probably the lack of financial and technical support, they all went for the most lucrative deal with the best technical backing. I really hate to see Dodge quit but I also hated to see Plymouth dropped. Oh well!
