27 inch monitor 150 bucks

The same monitor is available here in the Netherlands......... 249 Euro! which is about 275 US dollars!

So even when I would have had the 150 US dollars there was quite a bit more to wish!

But there is good news as well! For the same amount I can buy a LG 29"monitor! Now of I only had 249 Euros :banghead:

Cheers,
Huub

Mark,

You are still quite young, when your eyes are as old as ours you just need a large monitor and the resolutions isn't that important anymore, as we are already quite happy we can see our monitor :biggrin-new:

Mark,

Huub, at 50 one isn't quite young anymore, at least physically :) My eyes are so crooked that I have 5 different glasses for all kinds of applications. But I really agree on the size and this was one of the reasons I bought one myself. I have a 27" monitor that runs at 2.5k, and work with a second one right next to it that is a Samsung 22" model at 1080p. Even though it is significantly smaller, the difference in sharpness is like day and night. I consider that buying the big 27" was one of the best investments I made in recent years.

Anyhow, at the end of the day, it is still a matter of taste and of course the amount of money one is willing to spend on it.

Cheers,
Mark
