3 repaints for French aircrafts, i.e. 2 De Havilland and a locally assembled Fieseler......

DH-80 was used by the "maquis" in south-western France during the Liberation period ( middle to end of '44)
DH-82a was used in French Indochina during Japanese Occupation as liaison aircraft

Finn De Havilland DH82a Tiger Moth

Serial: MO-159 (ex LN-BDD, ex 159)
In 1943. In 8th June 1940 Norwegian pilot flew this plane to Finland to Ylaluostari airfield, near Petsamo.
Aircraft was interned. It was used by Finns till 17th May 1944.

Wow! Those are looking nice. I've always liked the Romanian Air Force liveries and national roundels. They splashed a little color into an otherwise drab affair.

I am very sure, this scheme was used in the MTO by the French Vichy Forces, probably in 1941/1942, when the yellow-red cowlings were introduced, because the earlier white stripes next to the roundel were not distinguishable enough.

Red and/or yellow tails seem to have been used in the Levante especially.

Anyway - these are fine looking dresses for our planes !
