3D monitor anyone tried one

I just got an email from newegg about a 3D 24" monitor $199
anyone tried one, this is the first i have heard of one

1 question comes to mind, do you need a 3D vid card

No, one would need the nVidea 3d "glasses", the which for those of us already having "4 eyes" is completely useless...

Does not come with the glasses. It is 3D ready, but glasses are sold separately. This is from the manual: 3D visual effects require 3D compatible software, nVidia® 3D Vision™ glasses and a compatible 3D graphics card.

Most modern Nvidia gaming vid cards are already 3D.
