I just uploaded 4 upgraded Alphasim P-47D models for use in the 354th Fighter Group campaign.

They have:
New photo realistic panel including new oxygen blinker gauge and turbo RPM gauge by Alicat
Modified dp file with specific weapons loads used by the 354th FG (the HVAR rockets are included but were not used by the 354th)
Historically correct skin for the 353rd Fighter Squadron based at A-98 (Rosieres-en-Haye) France, December 1944 to February 1945.
P-47 sound package by Lawdog2360.
Bombs and rockets are from Dbolt's db_us_wep_v2a package
150 gallon drop tank by Krzysztof Malinowski - repainted by Captain Kurt
Slightly tweaked air file

One is specifically for AI use as a ground attack plane. While the AI will sometimes perform ground attacks with the original Alphasim flight model air files, they will not do so reliably or consistantly even in the same mission when re-flown. I developed a flight model which is not really accurate for the P-47 but which does give the model reliable ground attack capability. Therefore it should only be used for dedicated ground attack missions.

Captain Kurt,

They are approved and uploaded, nice job, buddy! :guinness:

Pylon question

CK....I couldn't wait to try one out. I just dropped the Dahlberg into one of my CFS2 installs. It flys great. One thing....I'm getting a missing library message.

~P47_Pylon

And it's true. There isn't any entry like that in any of the objects, but the DP is calling for it.
What's wierd is that the AC seems to have a pylon installed as permenent equipment. Did I screw up? Again?

Worthless,

No it's my issue. This is getting depressingly familiar, I don't think I should be allowed out without adult supervision. I'm going to ask for a tester before I upload anything else. :banghead:

The ~P47_pylon is part of the Alphasim weapons package. It is the wing rocket rails. I was going to upload the planes without the rockets in the dp but at the last minute figured that would draw some complaints. So I added them to the dp weapons section but forgot to add the ~P47_pylon to the zip files when I replaced the dp file.

I will update the download files. In the meantime you can get the bgl file from the stock Alpha P-47 if you already have it or you can use this one.
