• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

Well, this must literally just be for aussies. I tried to buy the UH-60 which is listed as 34.00 USD on the US PC Aviator site but only 12.00 AUD on the AU site. My order was declined based on address.

I think we might get away with it in the UK too. Never been declined because of my address.. usually charged more!:biggrin-new: I bought the Liberator the other day at the $10 discount. Must see if there's anything left I haven't got:banghead:

Yup.. all the 10% stuff is definitely working here (just bagged the Helix.. god.. is that model poor inside or what!!). I already have the Chinook and A4 and don't really want their UH60 as I have the Cera model which is good enough.

Just picked up the A-4 Sky Hawk for 60% off. Works fine for those in the U.S. Fantastic offer.
 
I did not as yet receive an email order conformation (although I could download the Skyhawk). Perhaps something is not entirely right in Australia. Eric, perhaps try again after the weekend.

Part of it might be that the purchasing mechanism wanted me to put in my state, which in the US is Georgia. However, the systems seemed to hard coded to take Aussie states and wouldnt let me change from Queensland.
 
Could be Eric. Paypal is my friend (or worst enemy) and just about everywhere takes it without question. PCA.au already has my details (they should.. I've spent enough there) so I add to basket, login and there you go.. more money gone:encouragement:

They don't send out confirmation e.mails anymore. The only receipt you'll get if from Paypal (If you use that)

Eric: I found out with some trail and error, that you can't use capitals in your email adress there.

Eric, If you put in the country as United States, you can put in what ever state you wish. Same goes for UK I am sure. Hope this helps.
 
Yup.. that's a good point. Many of these things won't work without the correct country in place first.

I saw this thread while on the night shift at work. I thought "blimey, that's a good deal, I'll have that". By the time I got home this morning and got my wallet out, the discount was only 5%! Bugger! I'll have to wait for another sale.:banghead:

Their sales are a bit lax. They have a 10% discount on certain products every Tuesday and I swear this last sale was only supposed to be for Saturday although it stretched nicely into and through Sunday. I'm sure there'll be another one along soon Nick;)

What is it with PCA.au!!! Just had another email ref 'Flightsim Monday' advertising the Black Hawk for 60% off. A browse down the page shows the Chinook is similarly discounted. If ya wannit.. get over there now;)

EDIT: Having looked at this email again, it says 'Flightsim Sunday'. There's another for 'Flightsim Monday' offering MS California!! I can't keep up:banghead:
